Over the years I’ve created dozens of “wine harvest” videos for clients. I thought it was time to do one of my own. Harvest is by far one of the greatest, yet most stressful times of year. Long hours and hard work. And all I have to do is hold a camera.
I try to do at least one “personal” project a year. It helps maintain my sanity and gets me back to the excitement of having complete creative, storytelling freedom -one of the things that made me fall in love with filmmaking as a kid.
The last week of harvest was my first work break I had in months. So naturally, I ran back to the vineyards with a camera. Ram’s Gate Winery in Sonoma, California was kind enough to let me film their final 2 days of harvest.
Everything was shot by myself and Mikhail Sharpio. Big thanks to Meeks Digital Studios for the gear! Shot on two Red Dragon cameras.
